Twice I have requested a GP appointment to discuss a health issue for which I require a referral letter for my BUPA insurance. Both times the doctor in question has not put the information required by Bupa in the letter. They have asked me to arrange a second appointment to rectify the first doctors errors. This has delayed my treatment. And left me dealing with pain. GPs should be well aware of the necessary information for BUPA referral letters, they are the nations largest healthcare insurance. Not to mention I have specifically given the GP a checklist of what to include in the letter. This leads me to believe they are simply not listening to patients.
