"My appointment was cancelled without my knowledge"

I have booked an appointment for umbilical hernia surgery and it has been cancelled without my consent.I haven't received any call, text, email, letter to let me know about it and I've just found that about it because I had to call the hospital in order to check the status of my appointment. When calling them, I was put on a queue for such a long time and was treated disrespectfully by the agent over the phone. The agent laughed on the phone when telling me that my appointment was cancelled. Horrible service and I will make sure to spread my bad experience to whoever I can!
