"I went for an assessment and was just fobbed off"

About: Miranda House

(as a service user),

I was treated disgracefully they have me on mental health tablets but treat me like nothings wrong I'm close to having a breakdown I've never felt so ill but I didn't think I had been listened to its all because of who I am.

I understand this as every body has behaved the same. They will sit up and listen only if I do my self in or others. I don't see why I've been on anti psychotic s tablets for 25 years but get treated as though there's not wrong with me they bang me on tablets easy as that but I go for any other sort of help and just get given a phone number to ring somebody else.

I have used drugs to escape my demons but this has ended as it does not help me but soon as I say I have used drugs for this, its like I'm just giving them the excuse they need to fob me off. all I say is if I was to need help again I wouldn't tell them everything as I feel it might be held against me
