About: University Hospital Wishaw / Emergency Department

(as a relative),

My great grandmother who is 95 was rushed to A&E at Wishaw with a suspected stroke. The staff in A&E where great and very attentive. She was then moved to ECU and the care she received from staff nurse Campbell was 10/10.

 This was a very stressful experience for both my grandmother & family due a recent family bereavement. Campbell went above & beyond his duty of care to help our family during this difficult time and the put a smile back on my grandmothers face.

I cannot thank him enough the care & attention given to not only his patient but also to our family at this time.

Dear fellownurse

Thank you very much for getting in touch and for your comments in relation to the care and compassion your great grandmother received whilst attending the Emergency Department and being an inpatient here in ECU at University Hospital Wishaw; at what must have been a very worrying time for you all.

Your positive comments are very welcome and I will ensure they are fed back to the staff who work so hard in ensuring the care we deliver to patients is of a high standard, as well as being compassionate to the needs of our patients and their families.

It is very reassuring to read your story and I will ensure that this is feedback to Campbell for him to know that his care and personal attention is appreciated. I have no doubt all the staff will be delighted for the feedback.
