My father, who has dementia has been in the care of the Rugby Dermatology department now for several months. What started as an unknown rash was treated in various ways. However he eventually came under the care of a consultant? who quickly suggested that he has He has an Autoimmune Disorder . After tests it was understood to be - Bullous pemphigoid. The care has been exceptional. He has received very regular appointments (every month) and given full attention at all times. The consultant is reliable, efficient and effective in all care. Dad has a good report with her and we are always confident in all she does. Without her, I believe that the condition would have continued to go undiagnosed. As a family we would like to express our gratitude to her. The appointments are ongoing
