"Ward 28"

About: York Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

i've just spent 3 days under the care of the staff in Ward 28 following a cycling accident were I lost consciousness, damaged my shoulder and gained painful road rash. The care and concern shown by all the ward 28 staff was first class and although hospital stays are usually not pleasant I can't state how much I 'm grateful for their care.

Oh crikey that sounds like a nasty accident.

I'm so glad that the staff on Ward 28 have looked after you well, as you say hospital isn't a nice place to be but our staff do try to make it as good as possible! Sounds like you have been well cared for.

I hope you're recovering well, and please take care when you're back on the road!
