"Poor service Provide by Brentwide Access Hub Doctor"

About: GPs in Brent Staverton Surgery

(as the patient),

I saw a Hub Doctor, who I felt was reckless & did not listen to my medical concerns.  Further this doctor was deviating by stating they can't make a referral, which I made plain to them that I don't want any referral.  I Asked the doctor 3 times to disclose their full name, which was continuously refused, stating reception desk will give me that information.

I came to the Reception desk to ask, then a receptionist in charge of Hub said to the receptionist come to a next room so that other patients behind me do not get upset, and preserve the privacy. The receptionist, chose to deal with this at the reception desk instead, and then shouted at me Why did you not ask him ? This receptionist too did not give the details of the Doctor and moved away hastily back to their own desk.  I consider this very bad manners.

To my amazement normally the Practice receptionists deal with me with happy faces, but this individual receptionist was on angry face, instead of remaining detached. I felt a domineering environment.

I have complained initially by Web to the Practice Manager, who has also failed to reply me, or even had the decency to acknowledge my complaint, within in the Practice Protocols time lines.

I am a jovial patient with the Staverton Surgery - but on this occasion, the service received I have found to be disgraceful. Still awaiting for a written initial reply so full Complaints in detail could be submitted.

Dear Patient

As per my response to your previous comment, the Hub service is hosted at a number of different sites across the borough of Brent and the Hub service uses rooms at Staverton Surgery but is not delivered by us.

We have supplied the details of the service provider in the response to your email which we received just before the bank holiday weekend. A manager at Staverton Surgery had already acknowledged your verbal complaint and offered a number of options to you in order to help but you have declined all offers.

We would be happy to meet with you, as we have offered in the past, to resolve any outstanding issues.
