"Pick up the tools and work with them"

About: Telford STaRS

(as a service user),

I have been involved in drug services in Telford since I was 19-21 years - with some breaks!! DARS, CAMHS & TACT.

I've always been treated with dignity, yes, sometimes it feels like things are made difficult, but thats usually when I haven't stuck to my agreements!

Don't be scared to ask for help, whatever your situation, I'm a mother, I've had SS involvement in the past but not via drug services, just because you ask for help, doesn't mean your kids will be took away, but if you don't get help you are more at risk at the end of the day, they can only give you the tools, you have to pick them up and work them! Telford is very lucky to have these services!!

Thank you for your comments, it means a lot to us that you have benefited from our services. When a person has made a commitment to invest in themselves there is no greater honour than to be able to offer support and guidance through those life changes. So I cant agree with you more, please do "just ask".

We wish you the very best for your ongoing recovery.

Michelle
