"Cardio issues and high blood pressure"

About: University Hospital Of North Durham / Cardiology

I came into hospital due to heart/blood pressure issues (rather not discuss the cause, later found out to be a vascospasm). Went to the ER and they done some tests, later transferring me to the area where I would be put on inpatient. Put me on a blood pressure/ekg monitor/temperature checked etc. waited several hours and then was moved to another ward later on. Ward was fine, most of the nurses/doctors/ward patients were friendly and helpful, put on telemetry and slept the night there then later the following moved to Ward 11, which was even more chill as I wasn't awoken much during the night for tests. Spent two days sleeping there, once again the nurses were really pleasant and catering if I needed anything, food was fine no complaints. On the last day there I was taken to Bishop Auckland hospital for a CT of my heart, which was pretty quick as I'd only been there for a few days, then returned to UHoND with a summary of what was going on, and a clear explanation from one of the doctors, everything seemed to be fine, and I would later be discharged with another appointment 3 months later just to be sure. In a nutshell, the other patients seemed to be treat well and everyone worked quickly in unison to figure out what was wrong with me, and get me sent home in a reasonable time. Only mild criticism would be that there wasn't really much to do there when you're there for a stay, I know it's a hospital, not a holiday, but maybe they could introduce one or two activities to pass the time, and also that one or two of the nurses were a bit uncaring on the first ward, but all in all the majority of them were fine.
