"Doctor called me a nuisance and slammed the..."

About: Silver End Surgery

I made an appointment due to doctor's own request and some other problems that I was facing. I went to the GP on time, the doctor called me in. This was a new Doctor, who probably took longer time than the one generally there to understand the case history. When I was discussing the issues, I was told by the doctor that he cannot give me more time. I was really surprised, I was already suffering from pain. Ultimately the Doctor asked me to leave, I left, when I was about to leave the room, the Doctor called me a "nuisance", I stopped at the door and the doctor slammed the door at me. If I was standing few cm inside it could have heart me. I requested the receptionist to help she called the manager, who came in, had a discussion with me and told me that she will talk to the doctor and call me.

I hope everything would have been recorded in the cctv. Afterwards she called me and it felt that it was more protecting herself rather than finding a solution. This GP has some serious managerial issues. I am really surprised that a Doctor can really act like this especially in NHS. With that frame of mind can a Doctor really treat patients. It must be noted here that there are few other Doctors who work adequately, within the same GP and this review does not reflect their performance, if the usual doctors were there this incidence might not have happened. A simple apology by the manager could have resolved this issue but the manager started defending herself and the GP, instead of understanding my perspective and needs. I am really disappointed on this and hope that NHS will take adequate action. They did not even consider the different abilities that I have.

I hope the matter is resolved at its earliest.
