"Ct head"

About: Golden Jubilee National Hospital / Outpatients University Hospital Wishaw / Radiology

(as the patient),

my gp arranged for a ct  at might they were too busy, so they outsourced it to golden jubilee. Service was great . This was in July and I’m told I will not get results for at least ten weeks as one radiographer sick another on holiday. As I have had this lump on my head investigated since the beginning of March I don’t feel this is good enough.

Dear NHS employee,

I am extremely sorry that you are having to wait for such a long time for your CT Head results from Golden Jubilee National Hospital. In the past few months they have experienced issues coping with the volume of reporting for some specialist examinations.

This has been escalated and they now have additional reporting capacity and are working through their backlog of examinations as quickly as possible.

I appreciate that this information does not resolve your current situation but if you contact Patient Affairs on 01698 366558 with your details we can then contact Golden Jubilee National Hospital to try to help with your situation..

Kind Regards,

Elaine
