Update posted by Corsa (the patient)

Dear Elaine,

The operation wasn't cancelled, it was decided not to operate at this moment in time, even though I had called to confirm if there was still a bed for me, I had arrived about 13.30 and I was out the hospital about 16.30. The doctors are sending a letter reiterating the conversation we had in the room on Monday. Just wondered why I was brought in, as if I was having the operation on the Tuesday, bearing in mind my boss had made arrangements for my job to be covered, and then I had to call him to say, cancel everything...

PS Still waiting on the report from my lumbar Mri (which was clear) to be sent to my own GP, as still don't know what is causing the lumbar pain and numbness (front) of my right thigh.
