This was my 3rd child in NHSGGC and the most positive experience. Midwife during labour, Ellie was on a bank shift but normally works in labour suite was absolutely fantastic - her support, calm words of encouragement and cheery nature really got me through when I felt I was struggling.
Was then in ward 50 and care from everyone was great - midwives and all support staff were friendly, caring and approachable. I had a difficult experience with feeding and baby losing weight all while very hormonal so I was quite tearful and everyone including the physio who just popped in because she heard me crying had kind, supportive and practical words of encouragement. Special mention for Lynsey who helped me through some tough nights, Allison and wonderful care assistants who won’t see a new mum not eat! Wish I could remember more names but all were fantastic. Thank you to a great team.
