"Exemplary care from plastic surgery team."

About: Good Hope Hospital

I am currently under the care of the plastic surgery team after having had breast reconstruction in September 2018, following breast cancer in 2017. I have met all the plastic surgeons over the course of my treatment and after care, and found them all to be polite and courteous. They listened to my questions and concerns. They gave me all the options and information I needed in order for me to make an informed decision as to what kind of reconstructive surgery would be best suited to me. Their professional approach and surgical skills were second to none. I cannot find the words to express how grateful I am to all of them for giving me back my confidence, my self esteem and my femininity, as a simple 'Thank You' does not seem to cover it. I am also very grateful indeed for the caring attitude of the breast care nurses and staff in the clinics, they are always very welcoming, putting their patients at ease and taking the time to answer any questions I had, they were also very welcoming to my husband, making him feel he matters too. Thank you all so much for everything you do and have done for us.
