"Eating disorder"

About: Highly Specialist Services / Eating disorder service

(as the patient),

Felt let down by the service my councillor was hit and miss with my appointments off sick a lot but no one covered so was seen sometimes it was 4 weeks at a time so no continuity which led to me falling out of routine and kept set back they then went off long term sick. I had someone else but felt they me not progressing was just my fault not that I had been failed, I was then told I had 4 sessions to improve or take me off it. , this pressure I could not handle and felt intermediated And made me feel ill so I discharged myself and don’t know what to do

Dear Service User

Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback. I am very sorry about your experience and that things worked out this way. I'm also concerned that you now feel alone with your problem and not sure where to turn to for help. I will discuss your experience with staff

There are probably a number of options so if you would like to get in contact with me I can go through these with you. I would suggest the best option in the first place is to contact your GP who will be able to discuss further options for referral and help

Best wishes
