"Made to feel stupid and small"

I was advised by my GP and 111 online to go to the minor injuries unit for a suspected broken foot, which I've struggled with for over 6 weeks, thinking it was a bad sprain. My GP has no appointments for 4 weeks so told me to go to St George's. The nurse who saw me told me to wear trainers and wait for my GP appointment, there's nothing they can do. If I do have a broken foot they can't x-ray it because I've had it for 2 months. I was spoken down to and made to feel like a time waster, when the whole reason I haven't been to the doctors or sought treatment is to avoid being one in the first place! Rude, condescending and unhelpful to me, because of their disapproval in my GP's advice. Don't go here.
