"Dedicated, knowledgeable staff"

Unfortunately I've had a few problems saving my story on the website. I typed it all up a few times and lost it all !! This is why my story is well overdue. I'm going to have one last attempt at submitting it.

I was in Ward 208 ARI recently (well, a few months ago!) and the treatment and care that I received on this ward was outstanding. The sister in charge heads a great team - from the cleaning/auxiliary staff to the staff nurses, doctors and consultants. Despite being a very busy ward, all of the staff remain happy,cheerful, caring and professional.

Although all of the staff were good, two staff Nurses, Mandy and Darcey stood out from all the rest.

Nothing was ever too much for them and they carried out their duties to an exceptionally high standard. The care and comfort of their patients was their top priority and in order to complete their tasks they regularly stayed working on the ward long after their shifts had finished - all UNPAID of course !

The NHS is very fortunate to have such dedicated, knowledgeable  staff with first class nursing skills.

I would like to say a huge THANK YOU to each and every member of staff on ward 208.
