"Night time checks"

About: Croydon University Hospital / Respiratory medicine

(as other),

As a previous patient on respiratory ward, I feel I was not checked on regular basis at night. When I checked my night time check list, it stated I was sleeping. At this time this was written I was watching TV on my laptop.

So someone falsely put wrong information, this happened many times throughout my 5 week stay. This makes me think that no-one was checked during the night? Why do staff take bed side hourly sheets away at night and re-turn them to the bed-side in morning ? Make sense if they are left by patients bedside and filled in at right time and not give false info.

I am sorry that your experience at our hospital has not met with your expectations. It is not clear from your comment which area of the hospital you visited but if you would like to contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service ( PALS) with more information we will investigate further.

Our PALS office may be contacted by telephone on 020 8401 3210 or by email at ch-tr.pals@nhs.net. The office is open during the week from 9.30am to 4:00pm
