"First class service"

About: Pilgrim Hospital / Gastroenterology

(as the patient),

From the time I entered the ward to the time I was allowed to leave, I was treated with the utmost courtesy and respect. Everyone who saw me greeted me. I was informed of the procedure and given the opportunity to ask questions. The young lady performing the procedure (Yvonne) and the staff were so kind and reassuring.

After the procedure, I was monitored and cared for. I was offered a hot drink and a biscuit. My dear wife came to the ward to take me home.

Throughput the whole experience, I cannot commend enough the professionalism and personal care I received.

It was honestly "First Class Service".

Thank you to everyone for the excellent care and respect I was personally given.

Thank you for telling us about your experience and I am pleased everything went so well. All staff are aware that a visit to Endoscopy can cause patients concern due to the nature of the procedures that are undertaken. I know they always try their best to help alleviate these concerns by being caring and considerate.

Take care and thank you again and please be assured I have shared this with the endoscopy team who will be really pleased to read it, especially Yvonne.
