"Stay on Burstead Ward"

About: Basildon University Hospital / Urology

I came in on Wednesday morning 31st July, and was discharged in the early afternoon of the following Friday, 2nd August.

During my short stay for a urological procedure, I was impressed with the care and attention given by all the staff of the Hospital - from the Consultant to the nursing staff and other Ward staff, such as catering staff that I came into contact with they were unfailingly pleasant, friendly and took time and trouble to explain or clarify everything.

I was also impressed with the ward itself - plenty of room round the beds and no feeling of beds being positioned too close to each other.

Ward was spotlessly clean.

My thanks to everyone for their kindness, care and attention.

Every member of staff on this ward exemplified the very best of the NHS, and I am grateful.

I would also be grateful if my comments could be passed on to all staff.
