on tuesday 30th July my husband was admitted into AMU. It was extremely busy the two days he was there, but staff were billant, from the porters, the man who took his bloods etc sorry I dont know is name but very friendly and making jokes and making us all smile, the doctors who were easily approcable and clearly informed us what was going on, and most of all the staff nurse on duty running the whole place on her own on wednesday, she worked so hard, and has I had nothing to do for two days, but watch everything, the staff nurse was a Star, overworked yet still willing to listen and talk to all the patients even the bad tempered ones. We had to wait nearly 3hours for the drugs before my husband could leave and as Pharmacy was closed, it was difficult to trace them, but the receptionist some how managed to track them and got a porter to get them, again a very overworked lady who took her job to the highest level. We would very much like to thank all who work in AMU for their care and dedicataion.
