"Care from all staff at maternity hospital"

About: Aberdeen Maternity Hospital / Obstetrics (Maternity care)

(as the patient),

I was admitted to AMH due to preeclampsia a week after my due date towards end of June. The care my husband and I received during our journey from the triage unit, labour ward, theatre, recovery and Ashgrove Ward was second to none. We always felt listened to, well monitored, informed, and looked after. All staff we met through our journey from 20th to 25th June are a credit to the NHS.

Dear Kefppy

Thank you very much for providing us with such positive feedback. It can be really worrying when you develop a complication of pregnancy such as pre eclampsia, and it is really reassuring to hear that your journey through the maternity hospital was so positive. The staff work incredibly hard to provide such high quality care, and are indeed a credit to their profession, and the NHS. I will ensure this is shared with the teams throughout the hospital.

Thank you again, congratulations on the birth of your baby, and best wishes for the future.

Jane
