I had my 1st ever surgery last week. I went to to day surgery at the RIE and from the moment I arrived I was put at ease. All the staff I had interactions with listened to me and by doing so helped remove the anxiety that I had. A great example of person centred care. 

Throughout my admission I felt in safe hands. I can't praise the team enough.
