About: Blackpool Victoria Hospital / General medicine

(as the patient),

I was admitted to the ward straight from my Doctors Practice. I was assessed by the medical team and offered a bed for more tests in the following days. My experience on the ward was excellent, the nursing staff were so kind and thoughtful, always explaining different procedures to me and making sure I was comfortable.   After 3days I was transferred to ward 11 and I was also very impressed with the care and kindnesses I was given. As a retired nurse I would like to express my gratitude for all the wonderful care I was given at the hospital I trained in. Please forward this email to Matron. Thank you.

I will of course pass your kind comments onto the matrons and the nursing staff for Wards 11 and 18. I know they will be delighted to read your praise about the care and compassion they all displayed and how they made you feel involved in your treatment. It will mean a lot to them especially coming from a fellow Nurse.
