About: Torbay Hospital / Diabetic medicine

(as the patient),

I agreed to take part in a diabetes research trial at Torbay Hospital.

I attended a clinic interview and then had to have blood taken by the phlebotomists. They were great. I give blood so have a lot of experience of professionals hitting the vein correctly and I am not a very good 'bleeder'.

These girls were excellent; quick and efficient (hit the vein first time with no fuss) and a pleasure to be in their company too.
