Well a year ago i'd just left a quick detox at liberty house, found myself a bed and breakfast and was advised to meet a key worker at resolutions Hub.
It was very hot and i was very new to Luton ,indeed to the south of England.I new a few people by sight through AA/NA/CA meetings and found the CA at the hub up beat an lively. I soon realised that Cgl down here promote a variety of Recovery groups which all very new to me and the garden is still very lovely at the hub.
I was sign posted to various places including Noah and the hope church. I found adept living foundation peer support, constructive and holistic. I enjoyed the quiz night and thank you for your patience in helping me update my IT skills.
I have thoroughly enjoyed ten art therapy sessions also at the CGL hub.
A year later i find myself a hub graduate ,older and wiser and still living in central Luton and a day at a time .
Recovery is a journey to be enjoyed, who knows what tomorrow will bring?
Many thanks
