About three years ago I developed Polymyalgia Rheumatica (PMR) which is not life-threatening but causes pain in the joints. I was seen on the same day as I rang the surgery and was given helpful advice and a course of steroids. In a short space of time I was referred to an excellent expert in Rheumatology at Whipps Cross Hospital. My conditions was promptly diagnosed and after an appropriate course of treatment the condition was completely cured. During that time I was given appropriate support by Whipps Cross Hospital and the Evergreen Surgery. My family and I have been attending The Evergreen Surgery for about nine years and I cannot speak too highly of the prompt and competent service we have received. We have always found whichever doctor we have seen to be pleasant, supportive and knowledgeable.
