"ALFRED BEAN HOSPITAL"

Alfred Bean hospital has been open for patients a great number of years and the attack on our community hospital is outrageous closing department after department. Minor injuries relyant on a nobody at the end of a phone is just a waste of resources, I had to contact this service on 111 and was firstly questioned by a none medical person who then told me I would be contacted shortly by a medical professional. Contacted what a joke I had called 111 expecting immediate help not wait for another call. I had cut my finger very badly, in fact amputation of the end through the nail. Go to Aand E of course I knew that but the new regimen asks you to call 111 in all events, rubbish is all I can say, in normal circumstances I would have gone to BEAN and had it cleaned and bandaged (medically trained) so I knew what needed doing instead of waisting money on this 111 service which is not fit for purpose. So in reality Alfred Bean needs the full responsibility and resources to function as a local hospital not a 25 mile round trip tp AandE
