"Felt involved in my wife's care"

About: Edgware Community Hospital / Neurological Rehabilitation Centre

(as a relative),

I wanted to give feedback following my wife’s stay in the rehabilitation unit at Edgeware. My wife has Multiple Sclerosis and she suffered a stroke during 2017 and had to stay in the unit for three months. The staff looked after my wife with great care and kept in touch with me throughout. She was very well looked after; the staff were very nice and kind. Bhavani was the nurse looking after my wife and she was lovely. She still looks after my wife now that she is at home, she comes out to visit and looks after her. She involves us both in the care plan and speaks with us both. Just wanted to add that it is a very good service and to thank the staff.

Dear Polariseh85,

Thank you for your feedback on how the whole service at the NRC (Inpatients and community) has supported your wife's care. We are glad that you both have felt involved in the care Bhawani has provided.

We have shared your feedback with the whole team and it has made them feel proud of the care and support they provide.

Kind Regards

Evelyn Mudhombo on behalf of the team at NRC
