Thank you for the excellent care given to my husband when he was taken ill on 4/6/19 with heart failure whilst in the area.
After being taken by ambulance to A&E he was admitted to CCU, Bartholomew ward.
I cannot thank your staff enough.
He was on the ward about 8 days.
During this time tests and an angiogram were done.
The ward was efficient and quiet, the doctors, nurses and all staff absolutely wonderful.
He was told he needed bypass surgery at a hospital in London or Manchester.
The operation and recovery care were explained both to myself and my husband by a heart nurse.
Soon after the diagnosis a bed to bed transfer was arranged by ambulance to a Manchester Hospital near where we live.
He is now on a cardiothoraxic ward awaiting surgery (delayed due to water infection).
The
William Harvey Hospital care my husband experienced should be what every Hospital should aim to provide.
Again thank you so much.
(nb the parking was excellent, easy access and affordable weekly ticket).
"Excellent cardiology care"
