I had excellent care from the ambulance crew that picked my up off the road and also from the Crash Team in A & E.
Facilities, staff and treatment were all excellent.
I was transferred to ward 11.
Thank you so much to all the staff for looking after me when I came in Sunday 30 July following my accident.
You were all kind and attentive, including the lovely ladies with the food trolley encouraging me to eat jelly and ice cream.
It was particularly helpful that you were able to get me liquid drugs when I found it hard to swallow and that you ensured that I stayed that extra day until I was well enough to go home.
It was also lovely to see you all get on together, working so well as a team and the careful training of staff by the senior nurses.
As a patient it gives you great confidence when you see everyone working together to support patients and ensuring things like handovers are given the appropriate level of attention.
