Many thanks for taking the time to share your positive experience of the care and treatment you receive within the Male Mental Health Care Stream here at Rampton Hospital, we really do value your feedback and take it very seriously.

I am really pleased you enjoyed the Mental Health Oscar's Awards on 15th May 2019. This is the second annual event we have ran to recognise the achievements of the patients within the Service. The event was held in our Southwell Day Centre which is used by the Mental Health patients and provides them with Occupational Therapy activities as part of their meaningful day, alongside Educational groups and Psychological therapies and leisure and social activities. A huge thank you also needs to go to the Mental Health patient band the “Southwell sell mates” for providing the entertainment in the evening and playing various songs, some of which were written by the band.

There were ten awards in total this year which focused on progress such as “Overcoming Adversity” “Not just ticking the box” “New Leaf award” and Southwell’s Ward of the year – which this year was given to Alford ward, due to their involvement and regular attendance.

It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening for both staff and patients, and ideas are already under way for next year’s event.
