"Attentive natures and a good sense of humour"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Stroke Care

(as the patient),

From the transfer from Ayr hospital to Crosshouse my experience was very favourable. On being admitted to ward 3E I was met by caring staff, friendly faces and nothing a trouble to them.

Total professionals with attentive natures and a good sense of humour. The nightshift and dayshift staff were good team players. The ward was very clean and the food wonderful (you hear of so mnay unhappy patients re food in hospitals)

Porters & other departments had friendly dispositions.  I commend Crosshouse hospital in all of their hard work & excellent staff.  Thanks for everything !

Dear inspirenx38,

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments on care opinion. I am delighted to hear that you found all the staff day and night to deliver a high standard of care. This is so important at what must be a difficult time. Professionalism and a good sense of humour are key qualities.

It is great to hear that you found everyone to work as a team. There is no doubt it takes a team approach to get it right.

When unwell it is so important to have good nutrition to support your recovery. We are fortunate to have an excellent catering department on site.

I will ensure your feedback is shared with the team who will very much appreciate your lovely feedback.

I hope you are now recovering well.

Best Wishes

Christine
