"Unacceptable waiting times"

My child was referred in December 2018 and assessed in January 2019. At that time they were told they would have a follow up appointment in around six weeks. Seven months after initial referral, we were contacted "to see how things were". Very disappointed at such long waiting times. Cannot comment on the quality of treatment because as yet this is not applicable.
