"Early pregnancy unit"

I visited the Early pregnancy unit for the first time (6/7 July). This was not my local hospital but the most accessible for the care I required. I have never been so impressed by an NHS service so huge credit to all the staff at St Thomas hospital in the Early Pregnancy Unit. The service and care was second to none and really efficient. I was kept informed at all times and the nurses went over and above to ensure I was comfortable and explained exactly what they were doing. There was no staff to do the scan on my first visit but following a thorough examination and all the necessary tests I was invited back in for a scan appt the next day. I will be visiting again for another follow up scan in a few weeks. I was due to go on holiday and advised not to fly so made a follow up call to ask for this in writing so I could provide this to my insurance company and again this was no problem and I was advised it would be posted out to me. Thank you so much to all those that were involved in my care, you should be extremely proud and deserve recognition. Keep doing what you do!
