"I can never get an appointment"

The doctors in this practise are second to none - they are very caring and considerate. However, trying to book an appointment at this practise is near impossible. I have been calling for two months, trying to get an appointment as my mental health is severely suffering, but I am either told there's no appointments (at all, ever, it would seem), to call back another day, or on the day that you require the appointment (people have jobs, they can't just announce they're leaving in the middle of the day). I'm not sure who is to blame, but this is shambolic - unless I hype up my symptoms to being near death, no one will see me. I am having to get access to medical treatment with a different doctor in another practise, that I've never met before. Considering people have difficulty discussing their health in the first place, placing them in someone else's care is a serious disservice to the patient, and in my opinion, a serious failing in your duty of care. Again, I understand that services are stretched and the practise itself is not to blame (well actually, they are a little - some of the receptionists are incredibly rude, it's like you're asking them to give you food from their mouths) but this is horrendous and more needs to be done.
