About: University Hospital Monklands / Emergency Department University Hospital Monklands / General Surgery (Wards 4 & 7)

(as the patient),

I attended monklands a&e several weeks ago and despite the department being busy staff were very caring and professional. Thank you.

I attended a&e Monklands again with my daughter. She was seen by Nurse Jacqui, her approach and care given was fantastic. Also thanks to the plaster room Staff. Again another great experience. Thank you. 

I attended again earlier this month. I was seen by Staff Nurse Debbie ,Sam and a few others. Outstanding care from the minute I arrived until transferred to Ward 4. Thank you. 

As an in patient in ward 4 the care I have been given is second to none. All members of staff nurses, doctors, porters, domestics, csw have been amazing. Thank you. 

All lead nurses and general managers please take note and applaud your staff for the excellent care they give on a daily basis. You are all fantastic.

Thank you very much for such kind feedback on the Care Opinion platform. I am really glad that you and your daughter had such a positive experience whilst using our services, especially within the Emergency Department and on the multiple occasions you mention.

I would completely agree with you that our staff at University Hospital Monklands are fantastic and with regards to the staff you mention within the Emergency Department, they really are amazing and work very hard each day to make every patient experience individual. I am very lucky to have the pleasure of working with these guys every day and get to see first hand how they positively impact on a patients journey.

I will be sure to directly share your feedback with Debbie, Jackie and Sam within the Emergency Department and will also share with my Senior Nurse Colleague responsible for the Surgical Directorate (Ward 4).

Please also say a massive thank you to the theatre and recovery staff. Being a charge nurse myself it was a daunting experience to find myself on the other side. All of the staff took their time to ensure I was calm and chatted to me. They are a credit to Monklands Hospital and the NHS.
