"Review L3-L4 discectomy, decompression and..."

About: Lister Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

I had my original L3-L4 discectomy and decompression surgery in November 2017, which began to fail at the beginning of this year. Eventually I got through the NHS referral system back to my surgeon at Lister hospital orthopaedics. Once I was seen by my orthopaedics surgeon I was operated on within four weeks. All the risks and issues fully explained as before, so no surprises. Surgery went as planned without any complications and admitted onto Swift ward for post operation care and assessment. The stay on the ward was comfortable with cooperative knowledgeable and caring staff. Two day after major surgery I was fit enough to get discharged home. I have no complaints about any of the medical treatment that I have required and received. SO FAR, SO GOOD.
