"My children have their mummy back"

About: Bassetlaw Hospital / Ward B2

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

To ALL the Staff on Ward B2, you know who you are!

Thank you will never be enough for the care and support you have given me over the past 7 weeks, whether it's been individually or as part of a team.

Your kindness for myself and others never went unnoticed during my stay. You welcomed me with open arms when I first arrived, the lowest point in my life, but you took me in, supported me, cared for me and built me back up. You showed me compassion when I couldn't even love myself.

Thank you to each and every one of you for helping me get back to my old self again. You haven't just saved me, you saved my children who very nearly lost their mummy!!! But they have her back now and I know I couldn't have done it without you guys!

So once more, THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. Thank you from my Husband (Hes's got his nagging wife back HaHaHa!) and most importantly, my children.

Continue what you ALL do best.

Hi Jivezc35,

Thank you so much for taking the time to post such a lovely comment regarding your experience on B2. it is always good to hear that patients have benefited from the support of staff and found the admission helpful.

The staff here on B2 and in many other areas of mental health will always try to help and offer support to ensure a speedy recovery for patients.

It is so lovely to hear that you are now back home with your husband and children and it's good that they have their mummy back home and you are doing all the activities you enjoy doing as a family. I'm sure your husband is also so pleased to have you back at home (nagging or not!)

Thank you once again for posting such a positive comment, this really will give hope and support to others that may be experiencing mental health issues.

If you would like to discuss anything further, please contact us on

Karen Osborne
