"Champion care of people with learning disabilities"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - City Campus / Urology

(as a relative),

Overwhelmed by the care and compassion shown to my sister who has Downs Syndrome & advanced dementia, at every appointment and procedure at Nottingham Urology Centre, Nottingham City Hospital. Miss Scriven is brilliant with her and makes more than reasonable adjustments. Her whole team should champion care of people with learning disabilities. Thank you so much. Thanks also to the lovely nurses and doctors on Gillies Ward.

Thank you so much for your fantastic feedback, and for highlighting the support your sister received in outpatients and from our urology service. I’m proud of the whole team, including Miss Scrivens and the staff on Gillies Ward, for doing all they can to help you and your sister both feel confident in our care and meeting her individual needs. I’ve shared your kind words with my colleagues. We wish you and your sister well.

Kind regards
