What a joke can never get an actual appointment so had to go to sit and wait service got there at 8.25am only 25mins after sit and wait started to be told there's a 2 hour wait and to go away and come back after 1030 but I wouldn't be seen at 1030 I'd have to sit and wait again ! I explained I had been in a car crash and my back was hurting yet I was expected to go away all the way home to return again 2 hours later to wait even longer to see the doctor ... it's just ridiculous why can't they give people an actual appointment time !

Thank you for letting us know about your experience at our same day access clinic.

I have emailed you directly to address your concerns and to offer to discuss the matter further with you.

I am sorry for any inconvenience caused.

The clinicians work off individual lists of patients and some start seeing patients earlier than others.

The GPs also prioritise seeing patients based on their clinical need so this can also account for the differences in waiting times.

We sometimes offer patients a fixed appointment time later in the morning to prevent patients waiting in the Practice and this is what you were offered so I am sorry if this was not suitable.

I am pleased that we were then able to contact you to offer you a cancellation appointment later in the day and you attended to see a GP.
