"Admitted with pneumonia"

About: Victoria Hospital / Accident & Emergency Victoria Hospital / General Medicine

(as a service user),

My father was admitted with breathing difficulties with a diagnosis of pneumonia. The care received in A& E and ward 51 was excellent.   Ward 51 - Val and her team are an asset to NHS Fife. Professional, caring, friendly and very accommodating when visiting a family member in hospital. Overall I had confidence leaving my dad knowing Val and her team deliver such a high standard of care in such a clean and safe environment. 10/10 thank you.

Dear Clellnico

I would like to take this opportunity to respond on behalf of Val and her team in ward 51 as I know that Val has been unable to due to awaiting Care Opinion responder rights. To hear care being described as excellent, professional, caring and accomodating makes me feel very proud that the team in ward 51 are able to deliver such meaningful care inclusive of family. Most meaningful to me however is that you felt confident to leave your Father in their care, which just speaks volumes. I will be very happy to share your comments with them as I know that Val and the team take great pride in delivering a high standard of care. Many Thanks for taking the time to let us know about the care you and your father received, I am sure the staff will be very satisfied to hear they have gained a score of 10 out of 10 which is high praise indeed,

I hope your father has made a full recovery

Best wishes

Esther
