"Menopausal Madness"

About: Great Barford Surgery

As a lady of a certain age I am now on HRT. It is probably the most frustrating period of my life. However, despite being very grumbly when told I could not have a repeat prescription of my HRT tablet, the Dr was his usual calm and courteous self. He recommended a statin to help reduce my blood pressure and despite my "white coat syndrome" once again affecting my reading (despite home monitoring confirming it has lowered enormously!) he was happy to support my decision to stay on the HRT.

I wanted to add a positive reading to your site because whilst I am sure there are times when things go wrong people are often quick to condemn yet slow to praise.

I have only ever experienced a positive service and treatment from this surgery in the 19 years I have been registered. This is the same for my boys and even when they were at Uni they had cause to re-register when back for the holidays. Every time, without a hitch.

Thank you to all the staff who do so much to make this a welcoming and friendly place to enter, it is recognised by many - even though we don't always say it!
