I was admitted on Monday 10th June 2019 with a life threatening condition of am obstructed bowel, pneumonia and septicaemia, right from the A&E dept to theatre to intensive care to gate 34 and gate 33 I was shown nothing but kindness compassion and care. My consult and her doctors thought hard for me so I could sprain the toxins that were harming me and then the surgery was on Friday 14th June the anestetician kept me calm and I awoke in ITU relieved of all pressures on my body.gate 34 kept me stable pre surgery and gate 33 in recovery and the nurse in particular, a star.. Others to mention are a nurse on iTU I learnt so much from him about Italy wine and cheese his social skills at a,frightening time for me were outstanding. The food was outstanding, the dignity for myself and others from the carers was first class. I went home on Monday 17th June 2019 a new man, my live saved thanks to you all. I cannot ever thank you enough. My family were always welcomed and supported when they visited I am overwhelmed by the quality of the care, surgery, treatment nursing and environmental design of Gate 33 which was lovely to see the sun rise every morning because now I’m so,happy to be alive. To the consultant my special thanks you saved me and I will never forget what everyone did for me.
