"The service was the NHS at its finest"

After being referred by my GP for some worrying symptoms, I was seen quickly in out-patients gynae, which I think it a Nurse-led clinic.  

I was impressed by both the promptness on the day, the cleanliness of the department and the state-of-the-art equipment.  More than this, the attitude of the team of nurses was outstanding: I was treated with dignity & respect by Sam Lord & her team.  The whole process and outcomes were explained carefully, my understanding checked and I was gently supported through a quite uncomfortable examination.  Moreover, the clinic would have offered the second round of tests and some minor treatments, should they have been necessary, at that very same appointment.  

My results were negative, but I was given a direct number in case of any concerns or future symptoms.  The whole impression of the service was the NHS at its finest and I cannot thank the nurses enough for their compassionate care.
