"Psychologist tried to normalise violence"

About: Whiteleaf Centre

i had a stay of 16 days in sapphire ward. General stay not too bad although some staff very cold natured lack of empathy.Problems began when i saw a Psychologist after i came out of Hospital as outpatient. Having experienced a terrible loss of a friend who was murdered 35 yrs ago i found the Psychologist trying to normalise the extreme violence he unfortunately experienced. This made me feel terrible as i feel such extreme violence is not normal for most people. The majority of people have a concience and would not want to harm anybody so don't understand why this Psychologist would think that poor people that have been stabbed to death as being a normal act. The stabbing and murdering of people is NOT normal, most people do NOT do this. For a Psychologist to consider this normal is disgusting. I left and went elsewhere for treatment for my OCD as i feel the Psychologist alarmed me with her views i found her views very distressing.
