During the past year my Husband has experienced several health problems and been associated with Renal, Dialysis, Haematology and Cancer Departments in particular and also an emergency admission to A&E Resus Unit. I find that each Health Car Professional with whom we have come into contact has been caring, efficient and cheerful. My husband has been able to discuss his care with Consultants, go away 'to think about it' and be involved in decision-making. He has always been treated as an individual and with respect. He has never felt rushed, even though we are aware of the staffing difficulties that might be caused by 'underfunding'
The A&E admission followed a scary ambulance ride to (thankfully) Stafford where he was immediately connected to oxygen and all kinds of monitors, etc and a speedy diagnosis achieved. His ongoing care needed to be at North Staffs due to his renal condition but I am so grateful for all the care we have received at Stafford. Thank you, one and all! Mrs Teresa Hinks
