"Operation to remove cyst from my larynx"

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary / Ear, Nose and Throat

(as the patient),

This was day surgery. Theatre Arrivals and the processing was fine but with a short wait before surgery.

Surgery was also excellent - never felt a thing which is just how I like it.

Recovery was also excellent. Attentive staff that couldn't do enough for one.

I was supposed to move to Ward 9 for final recovery and discharge but the bed allocated did not become available but Ward 9 seemingly was not prepared to share this information with Recovery. Eventually it was arranged for Ward 9 to come to me and the ward sister discharged me from Recovery.
