About: Borders Community Services / Hospital to home service

(as a parent/guardian),

Use of the new hospital at home service which is absolutely fantastic. Allowed my mum to leave hospital and has meant that she can stay in her own home as she does not want to be re-admitted to hospital any more.

All staff have been extremely caring and respectful - always happy to go the extra mile. They have also facilitated getting additional aids to make her more comfortable eg. air mattress, hospital bed.

Also frees up a hospital bed which must be good as she could no longer cope on her own. Thank you.

Thank you for taking the time to feedback on your mothers experience of care from the Hospital to Home team. This is a new service and we truly value patients and families taking the time to give their opinion on the care the team provides. All the team pride themselves on ensuring the patient is at the centre of all they do and ensuring that their patients receive a high quality service of which we are all very proud.

I will ensure this feedback reaches the team.

I hope that your mum is now comfortable at home and feeling a little better.
