"Never again will I underestimate a smile"

About: Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / Gynaecology

(as a service user),

I was in hospital with sepsis felt unwell the first too days, then went up to ward 210 had a room to myself. I have never been in hospital before apart from having my children, the care, compassion, dedication, from the nurses, tea people, was excellent. Never again will I underestimate a smile, a friendly voice, the job is priceless you just can't pay these working professionals enough for the aftercare to me that's just as important as the topdogs job, dedicating themselves to my needs whilst in their care, that helped my recovery journey go smoothly,  for that I will always look up to you and thank you to all from the bottom of my ❤️ Heart.

Dear Double D

Thank you very much for you very kind words complimenting all members of staff for the care provided to you.

I am so pleased that all the staff you met during your stay in ward 210 were kind and compassionate from the staff who gave out the tea to the nurses and doctors, everyone is part of the team and each role is important in aiding patient recovery.

It sound as if you were really quite unwell so I hope you are feeling much better and well on the road to recovery.

I will share your feedback with the staff in ward 210 who will be delighted you are feeling better and that you appreciated them.
